According to the Census Department 75% of all US businesses have no payroll. What they are saying is that 3/4 of all businesses are "Small Businesses". This country was built on small businesses. Two centuries ago when this country was founded there were no big businesses. It was a rare occurance when any business had more than a half dozen employees. It was the small business owner than built this nation.

Our ancestors knew if they were going to provide for their families they needed to use their ingenuity and the skills that God gave them. There wasn't any Social Security or 401K's, there was only hardwork and a system of trade and barter.

Sadly, somewhere along the way many people have to come to believe that owning a "Small Business" is now just an unattainbable dream ... that to startup any business takes lots of money and a lucky break to make it happen. We want to tell you that owning your own small business doesn't have to cost lots of money and luck has absolutely nothing to do with it.

What does it take to start up a Small Business? It honestly only takes 2 things ... an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to take the first step.
